The pretty home has exposed beams, a stone fireplace and vaulted ceilings, giving off a characterful countryside feel. The master bedroom has spectacular views over the village of Eyam and Eyam Edge, and all three bedrooms boast en-suites - fantastic for groups of couples visiting the Peak District together.
To the rear of the home is a lovely, sheltered courtyard with a BBQ and table and chairs for al fresco dining. Eyam village has a rich history made famous during the plague of 1655 for its voluntary quarantine. There is a pub and a shop just 200 yards from the door of the property, so you’ll be well placed to pick up essentials after a busy day.
The beautiful and scenic Eyam Moor sits just above the village. It’s a plateau-topped hill with fantastic views and some great walking and cycling routes. Discover the stone circle hiding amongst the heather and tall grasses, and a damaged cairn dating back to the Bronze Age - both are worth hunting out.
The wider area itself known as Derwent Valley is scattered with lakes, fells, rivers and old cotton mills. Everyone will find something to suit their ideal adventure, whether it’s on foot, wheel or paddle.
