Stepping inside, you’ll find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can spend quality time together whether you’re watching TV, cooking up some treats or planning the next day’s adventure.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you’ll need. Upstairs, there is an endearing bedroom with a small en-suite shower room. The main attraction of this property is the beautiful garden which overlooks the river and weir to the meadow beyond. It’s a lovely spot for watching wildlife with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

You can walk, cycle, canoe, climb or cave to your heart’s content in the Peak District. Whether you’re heading to the high and rugged Dark Peak to the north or the White Peak with its limestone plateaus to the south, most of the national park is accessible from this property’s excellent central location.

You’re only 1.5 miles from Bakewell, the national park’s biggest town and home of the famous pudding. It’s also the starting point for the 8.5-mile traffic free Monsal Trail. For something less strenuous, you might fancy a stroll around Chatsworth House (5 miles) or the thermal spa town of Buxton (11 miles).
